The Grand Canyon National Park Airport has served the number one tourist site in the State of Arizona since 1925 and is the only state owned airport in the state.  It is part of the Arizona Department of Transportation.  The airport is located in Tusayan, AZ, seven miles from the South Rim and two miles from the Park Entrance.

The new terminal facility supports scheduled airline operations from across the country changing the way travelers arrive at the Grand Canyon National Park. The airport has one runway, 3/21, 9000 feet x 150 feet. The airport has Aircraft Crash and Rescue services available during the control tower operating hours.
